Software Tester

JOB DESCRIPTION:

?3+ years of hands-on software verification/testing experience
Design and implement automated test suites using Tosca – (preferred), focusing on system, integration, and regression testing
Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into test cases
Perform manual testing across various platforms and environments
Troubleshoot and resolve complex testing issues
Hands-on experience with working in an Agile software development and testing environment
Expert knowledge of Software Test Process and technologies
Exposure with visual modeling/design, formal software development methodologies, and source code management is preferred
Experience in working in an iterative Agile development process required
Experience JMeter for load testing
Experience with complex test setup using medical devices/simulators with custom software preferred
Knowledge of Traceability Matrix
Knowledge of Defect Management system
Experience with Selenium
Ability to decompose software requirements into test methods
Preparation and release of technical documents in a controlled medical device quality system
Strong document writer (understand workflow and write)
Experience in Medical devices domain is must?
Responsible for software verification activities for a medical device system including manual functional testing, Load, API and integration testing, non-product software validation
Support in creation and tracking SW Verification Plans, Protocols and Schedules
Leverage Test Automation frameworks to standardize Test Automation across products and technologies?
?Technical Skills:
Experience with Tosca is preferred
Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and tools
Testing Frameworks:
o Tosca (Topology and Orchestration Specification for Cloud Applications):
o Model-based testing approach
o Risk-based testing methodology
o Scripless test case creation
Knowledge of testing frameworks and automation mechanisms
o Selenium
o JUnit
o TestNG
Tosca-specific automation:
o Tosca Commander: Central component for creating, managing, executing, and analyzing test scripts
o Tosca Wizard: Used for scanning applications and constructing object maps
o Tosca Mobile Engine: Allows for mobile app testing on various platforms
API testing
Cross-browser testing
Performance and load testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
Integration with other tools:
o JIRA
o Jenkins
o Selenium WebDriver?
