10 years of experience as Solaris administrator with knowledge on Kubernetes and AWS

Technical Skills

Work with multi-tiered clustered environments
Should be able to manage the Solaris collections.
Develops, monitors, and maintains utilities and procedures to perform periodic maintenance, backups, shutdowns, recoveries, and diagnostics.
Evaluate, recommend, and install software and hardware to facilitate and monitor network throughput and control load balancing.
Provide technical and infrastructure support services for Solaris OS-based servers and systems, including but not limited to Systems Administration of UNIX (Solaris)
Experience with Kubernetes
Scripting in Python
Monitor external interface logs and interfaces.
Monitor and administer HBSS on Solaris servers.
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in systems administration and support.
Required to escalate issues to vendors and provide root cause analysis and incident reports.
Track and drive patch management for all middleware software

Certifications Needed

Good to have Solaris admin certificate
