Position: Solution Architect

Location: Sacramento, CA

Job Description :

At least three (3) years’ experience as a Solution Architect, including the planning, designing and implementation of an IT Architecture. At least three (3) years’ experience as an Enterprise Architect (EA) with the State. At least three (3) years’ experience developing and documenting EA artifacts, including conceptualization and modeling data in various ways depending on the situation or need. At least Two (2) years’ experience designing, developing, and implementing reference models that align with either the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) or the California Enterprise Architecture Framework. Proof of the Ability to work individually and in a team environment. At least three (3) years’ experience communicating with business SMEs to obtain and comprehend information and requirements. Additionally, must be able to analyze business requirements and formulate strategies. An understanding of Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent PM Management and working to a scheduled set of tasks and events. At least two (2) documented examples of working on multiple disparate project tasks and deliverables concurrently. At least two (2) years of leading collaboration sessions with other data, business, and application architects/analysts in data modeling, brainstorming, and/or Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions. Desirable Qualifications One (1) year experience in a correctional environment in the area of rehabilitation services targeted to recidivism reduction and evidence-based concepts. Two (2) years’ experience with developing business architecture, application architecture, data architecture, and technology architecture artifacts that fit within the State of California project and procurement documentation. Proof of the ability to communicate effectively at all levels while demonstrating excellent customer service. Proof of the ability to be flexible and embrace and leverage change. Proof of the ability to work in close partnership with, and under the direction of, management and staff, including other contractors. Proof of the ability to actively facilitate, participate, lead and coordinate information-gathering meetings, fact-finding meetings, working sessions, status reporting, meeting minutes, presentations, and general communication on an ongoing basis to help ensure project success.
