Roles and responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
· Perform database optimization and performance tuning to ensure optimal system efficiency.
· Apply data modelling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations
· Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
· Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
· Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement, collaborate with the development team to integrate database components into applications.
· Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
· Create and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures.
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
Required Skills and Experience
· 5+ years MS SQL Server experience required.
· Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
· Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory
· Familiarity with Azure is a plus.
