We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist to join our team.
As a SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our SQL Server databases and analytics solutions.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data models, optimize SQL queries, and analyze data to drive business insights and decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions, to support business applications and analytics needs.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into SQL Server databases.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for database design and analytics solutions.
Design and implement data models, data warehouses, and data marts to support reporting and analytics requirements.
Implement and maintain data quality and data governance processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
Perform data analysis and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau to present insights and trends to stakeholders.
Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities, and implement performance tuning strategies to improve query performance and scalability.
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members, including developers, analysts, and business users, on SQL Server database design, development, and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience as a SQL Server Database Developer or Data Analyst, with a strong understanding of SQL Server database design, development, and administration.
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Experience with database modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
