SQL Server Database Administrator

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
Minimum of 7+ years, post graduate, experience in the administration of SQL Server Databases including 3+ years of supporting as a development/applications DBA (working with development teams’).
Minimum of 7+ years, post graduate experience as a SQL Server DBA in a shared services environment (i.e. environment where different teams manage various activities, including server management, database administration, network operations, storage, etc.)
5+ years of experience with SQL Server Performance Tuning.
3+ years of working in environment with high performance databases and using Always-On or related technology for database monitoring.
3+ years of DBA experience in supporting application development teams in addition to production/operations.
3+ years of monitoring experience of SSRS reports and ETL (SSIS) code.
2+ years of experience with T-SQL coding/support and handling of performance related issues to T-SQL code.
2+ years of PowerShell scripting for Windows.
Ideal candidate would have some exposure to Azure Cloud (not required though).
Experience with Financial Services and/or Risk Applications desired but not required.
Database security and auditing.
Database architecture, including hardware configuration, logical and physical database layouts.
Database management, monitoring of multiple databases and load balancing.
Database performance management and tuning.
