Job Responsibilities:
• Lead the application testing efforts for the client Server Modernization Project, ensuring the successful migration of legacy applications to modern Microsoft Servers.
• Conduct an initial 3-week onsite period, working 3 days per week at 1 North Old State Capital Plaza, Springfield, IL.
• Post-introductory period, work onsite 3 days per month, with potential for up to 3 additional days per month as needed.
• Engage in functional and technical discussions to create comprehensive test plans and cases based on functional and technical requirements.
• Develop, implement, and manage testing strategies for various applications and technologies involved in the project.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure all applications are tested on new technologies before decommissioning legacy platforms.
• Provide strong leadership and clear communication throughout the testing phase of the project lifecycle.
Required Skills:
• Experience: At least 8 years of experience as a Senior Application Testing Specialist with both manual and automation testing experience on projects of similar size and scope.
• Agile Framework: Extensive experience working within the Agile Framework.
• Technical Knowledge:
o Experience with Microsoft Technologies, including Microsoft Server 2008 and later, IIS, SQL Server, ASP, and ASP.Net.
o Ability to create quality test plans and cases from functional and technical requirements.
o Past experience with BDD scenario testing using SpecFlow (or Cucumber) and Selenium for UI Testing within the specified technical environments would be highly desired – but not required.
• Leadership and Communication: Proven ability to engage in functional and technical discussions, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Industry Experience: Experience working with Health and Human Services Agencies.
• Additional Technical Skills: Familiarity with legacy and modern Microsoft Server environments, including virtualization.
Bachelor's degree
