Job Title: Sr Big Data Architect

Location: Metro DC Area,

Full time

Responsibilities for the Sr. Big Data Architect include:

Collaborating with executive leadership and various product stakeholders to understand client needs, industry trends, and assist in designing operational and strategic solutions.

Leading and building advanced analytic platforms across proprietary product lines across multiple industry domains.

Executing technical plans and managing the lifecycle of the products.

Managing analytical resources to align with product release timelines and budget.

Qualifications for the Sr. Big Data Architect include:

8-10 years of experience with data engineering background including ETL tools and experience with managing large data sets in either the healthcare or financial domains.

4+ years’ experience in leading analytic development teams.

Experience implementing self-service analytical tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

Experience with statistical analysis and data mining techniques using scripting languages such as R and Python.

Extensive background developing big data ecosystems such as Apache Hadoop, Cloudera, and MongoDB.

Implementation experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure and services such as Redshift, EMR and DynamoDB.
