Sr. Full-stack Developer

Navitas Business Consulting is seeking a Sr. Java Full-stack Developer to support a Flagship contract with the ability to Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products. This role would require the ability to master our development process, culture, and code base, then improve it. This role would be based in the DC Metro area and operate on east coast hours. This role would require a background test in Hacker-rank.

On-site requirements are three days a week with occasional travel to Washington DC for required meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products.
• Master our development process, culture, and code base, then improve it
• Six (6+ years) experience setting up and working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, especially AWS Lambda and other serverless technologies.
• Operate optimally in the hybrid engineering model where engineers are encouraged to be able to craft and complete the vital work to ensure quality in their own code as well as other engineers.
• Utilize programming languages like Java, Spring, Spring boot and NoSQL databases, and a variety of AWS tools and services.
• Experience with Front end Technologies Such as React and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with Databases design (SQL, NoSQL) and analytics
• Mentor others in development technologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with Agile software development and test-driven development.
