Sr .Net Azure Developer

Job Description

Senior Azure Developer - Expertise in .NET Core or .NET Framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API development and extensive experience with various Azure services. Will be responsible for end-to-end development, including writing unit test cases and ensuring the robustness and scalability of our applications.
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

- Design, develop, and maintain APIs using .NET Core or .NET Framework.
 

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
 

- Utilize Azure services such as Functions, App Service, API Management, AKS, Storage, Azure application gateway and Database.
 

- Write and maintain unit test cases to ensure code quality.
 

- Implement security best practices in API development, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
 

- Conduct regular security assessments and code reviews to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
 

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, reliability, and security.
 

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
 

Qualifications: 
 

5-6 years of experience in API development using .NET Core or .NET Framework.
 

Proven experience with Azure services, including Functions, App Service, API Management, AKS, Storage, and Database.
 

Strong understanding of Azure and its PAAS services.
 

Proficiency in writing unit test cases.
 

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
 

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
 

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 

Preferred Skills:
 

 Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
 

Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
 

Knowledge of security best practices in API development, including OAuth, JWT, and secure coding standards.
 

Experience with security tools and frameworks such as OWASP.
