Requirements:
Travel maybe required to industrial plant sites.
Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including steel-toed shoes, hearing, eye and hardhat protection.
Physical Activity, including walking up stairs, over obstacles and lifting moderate weights.
Explicit hands-on network management experience and familiarity with both copper and fiber media and associated transceivers with an emphasis on Cisco hardware.
Explicit hands-on network management experience with specialized IT technology experience in installation, upgrade, troubleshooting, and tuning of Cisco switches and connecting infrastructure pertaining to IT-OT Foundational Infrastructure and IT-OT Services.
The primary responsibility includes:
• Tracing and documentation of fiber
Liaison with other teams to coordinate, implement, and support network changes
• Collaborate with other IT technical teams to ensure continuity of services, issue resolution, and integrated solutions
• Isolate, diagnose and resolve network problems individually and through coordination with others
• Maintain system access and security in order to safeguard company data.
Qualifications:
Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline (BSEE, BSCS, BSET) with a minimum of 5 years of job related experience. Desire but do not require Cisco Certifications, ex. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with networking architecture.
Must possess high technical and communication skills.
Must understand how to cable, power and configure Cisco switches, UPS, PDU, and other network hardware.
Must pass TWIC card access restrictions
