Responsibilities
Test Planning and Strategy:
- Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements.
- Define and implement testing strategies that align with project goals.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure testing objectives are clearly defined.
Test Execution And Analysis
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing as a Test Analyst.
- Analyze test results and provide valuable insights to improve product quality.
- Manage and execute test cases, ensuring coverage of all project requirements.
Automation Testing
- Lead and participate in the development and maintenance of automated test
- scripts.
- Implement and enhance automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency.
Collaboration
- Work closely with development teams to understand project requirements and ensure testability.
- Foster a collaborative environment between testing and development teams.
Status Reporting
- Provide regular and clear updates on testing progress through weekly or bi-weekly status reports.
- Communicate the QA status for the project, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified understanding of the project's testing status.
Analysis And Defect Tracking
- Analyze test reports to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Investigate and document defects, providing detailed information to development teams for resolution.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure timely and effective resolution of identified defects.
