Role And Responsibilities

Provide technical support, monitoring, maintenance and trouble-shooting as necessary to keep DC infrastructure up and running.
Administer, manage and maintain EMC storage admin tasks via GUI & CLI both and able to troubleshoot & resolve storage capacity related issues
Perform all routine administration tasks including upgrading, new installations , capacity addition , storage reclaim tasks
Administer, manage and maintain backup Avamar & Data Domian grids and able to troubleshoot & resolve backup related issues
Perform all routine administration tasks including upgrading, file folder system restore, Bare Metal Recovery& Image level backups
Create and maintain documentation related to standard operating procedures and installation instructions.
Work closely with vendors to resolve issues that have been escalated for third-level support
Stay current with trends in backup technology
Work independently to evaluate symptoms and determine root cause of complex issues involving both client and backup grid issues
Collaborate with other support teams as necessary to develop comprehensive solutions
Build/patch/upgrade/install /migrate/decommission on Storage and Backup devices on need basis.
Handle alerts/incidents/work orders/change request/problem records/ticket analysis/RCA as a part of support team
Work in synergy with other support teams to keep the environment up and running.
Troubleshoot issues related to users, capacity, compute and patches.
Vendor coordination for service calls and escalated matters
Should be able to work under pressured and capable of managing major incident and complex change requests.
Must have extensive knowledge of SAN storage and be able to present storage to virtual and physical Servers
Must have knowledge on Networks and its troubleshooting at server level

Education

Any Graduate
