Your challenge
As a Software Installation Engineer, you focus on technical installation and support of the OMP supply chain solutions on our OMP Cloud service and customers’ infrastructure. You focus on the technical aspects of the implementation during customer projects.
You will be working in a global environment across the different industries that OMP targets.
You Are Responsible For
Discussing the requirements of the technical installation with customers and your consultant colleagues who are working on the same projects. You follow up and act promptly.
Configuring and testing the installed software in OMP Cloud based on Microsoft Azure and at the customers’ site.
Training the customers’ IT staff on the technical aspect of our solutions.
Writing the technical documentation of the installations.
Providing input to our development team on the best practices for installation.
Supporting customers’ IT staff, our consultants, and our Customer Services team on technical aspects other than the implementation.
Your team
As our new Software Installation Engineer, you’ll be part of the Technical Services team. Technical Services equips our teams with the necessary technology, applications, and technical framework for them to do their jobs effectively and securely.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:

A Bachelor in ICT or similar by experience.
Knowledge of the Microsoft PowerShell scripting language.
Proficiency with Windows operating systems and networks.
Solid communication skills in spoken and written English.
Experience in a customer facing role.
A team player who can work autonomously.
The ability to work in an organized way and within a standardized framework.
Bonus Points If You Have
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
Advanced technical expertise combined with a basic interest in our supply chain planning software.
Experience with relational databases, such as Oracle and SQL Server..
Knowledge of Citrix.
