System Architect

Duties/Responsibilities:
♦️ As a cloud solution architect on our team, you’ll translate our customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan
reviewing and identifying improvements in architecture products, design specifications, and requirements.
♦️ Engage in discussions and decisions regarding system architecture within a cloud-hosted environment.
♦️ Provide support to ensure alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
♦️ Offer insights and recommendations for optimizing system architecture.
♦️ Ensure solutions meet the technical requirements and align with the organization's objectives.
♦️ Utilize knowledge of cloud service to enhance system functionality
♦️ Analyze technical diagrams of cloud-hosted solutions to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
♦️ Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance architectural design and efficiency.
♦️ Establish standards and guidelines for integrated systems operating in a distributed cloud environment.
♦️ Provide localized governance to ensure consistency and compliance systems.
♦️ Continuously evaluate and update standards to reflect industry best practices and emerging technologies.
♦️ Navigate and operate within AWS or Microsoft Azure Government consoles to review and manage system
configurations.
♦️ Ensure proper configuration of cloud resources to maintain system security and efficiency.

Education:
♦️ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in the specific discipline required by the State.

General Experience:
♦️ Experience participating in and supporting an Architectural Review Board for systems that operate in a cloud
hosted environment.
♦️ Experience architecting and/or developing solutions that operate on either AWS 
♦️ Experience reviewing technical architectural diagrams of cloud hosted solutions to identify opportunities for
enhancement
♦️ Experience developing standards and guidelines to provide localized governance of integrated systems operating
♦️ Experience operating within Scaled Agile Framework
♦️ Experience writing technical viewpoint analysis papers
♦️ Ability to attain a public trust clearance
Specialized Experience:
♦️ Experience working with the Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services
♦️ Experience working with a system of systems
♦️ Experience working with TOGAF, DODAF, or other Enterprise Architecture frameworks. 

Certifications:
♦️ Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin
♦️ Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect
♦️ Splunk Core Certified Consultant
♦️ Splunk IT Service Intelligence Certified Admin
