Job Scope/Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience administering Windows Server environments
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy (replication, domain controller, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Experience with VMware virtualization platforms (snapshots, patching, sysprep, etc.)
- Scripting skills using PowerShell
- Understanding of information security best practices and patch management
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working independently and collaborating remotely as part of a team
- Working with systems (DMZ, firewall rules, DMZ needing to join the domain)

Candidate are having trouble answering the following:
- When asked about building domains from scratch or creating trusts, the candidate said they had not personally done this before, only acquired companies with existing trusts.
- For troubleshooting distributed switches, the candidate said they had not been involved at the infrastructure level.
- Regarding firewall rules, the candidate said they typically request rules from the network team rather than setting them up directly.
- The candidate was not familiar off the top of their head with Active Directory replication utilities commands but knew they existed and could research them.
