We are seeking a highly qualified Command and Control Systems Analyst to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical analyses, assessments, and recommendations for command-and-control systems in support of portfolio management and acquisition decisions. This role involves supporting various elements of the Defense Acquisition System (DAS) and providing expert technical advice and assistance on joint service, allied, and coalition command and control portfolios and architectures.
Key Responsibilities:-
Technical Analysis and Assessment: Conduct technical analyses, assessments, and recommendations for command-and-control systems to support portfolio management and acquisition decisions, including those related to Integrated Acquisition Portfolio Reviews (IAPRs) or Competitive Advantage Pathfinders.
Cost, Schedule, Performance, and Supportability Assessment: Assess the cost, schedule, performance, and supportability of command-and-control systems and portfolios. Report the status of each to DASD Leadership.
Expert Technical Advice: Provide expert technical advice and assistance on joint service, allied, and coalition command and control portfolios and architectures.
Data Discovery and Information Sharing: Support data discovery, technical exchanges, and information sharing to improve the acquisition, technical, and portfolio management oversight of networks and communication systems.
Support for Defense Acquisition System (DAS): Support all elements of the Defense Acquisition System (DAS), including the Joint Requirements Oversight Council and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process for network and communications capabilities.
Research and Policy Development: Research existing DoD policies, instructions, directives, charters, and other issuances related to acquisition and enterprise management functions of DoD command and control capabilities.
Engagement with Working Groups and Governance Bodies: Facilitate and support all working groups and governance bodies internal and external to OUSD(A&S) that pertain to Joint Command and Control. This includes engaging with groups such as the Joint All Domain C2 Cross Functional Team, the C2 Senior Steering Group for Acquisition (C2 SSG-A), and others.
Engagement with Governance Structures: Engage with supported governance structures as assigned, including the DMAG, JROC, DAB, Command Control Communications Leadership Board (C3LB), Cyber Council, and others.
Support for Special Access Program Activities: Counsel, participate in, and support special access program activities as tasked, including portfolio management..
