Systems Engineer III

Summary:
The Systems Engineer III is responsible for maintaining and supporting the firm's servers and infrastructure by ensuring our systems are operational. The Systems Engineers are responsible for assessing systems, providing solutions to issues that arise and maintaining systems in a hybrid environment. This role will have a specific focus on Collaboration platform/tools within O365, with a specialization in SharePoint.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creating control features to ensure systems effectively meet the organization’s quality standards
• Troubleshoot and communicate with teams to come up with solutions
• Cross train teams on run books and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ensuring that an organization is operating at maximum efficiency, from manufacturing to distribution
• Speaking to and collaborating with a variety of people, such as, vendors, management, IT staff and other Stifel associates during the creation and maintenance of a system
• Working with other parts of O365 when needed.
• Be the point person with SharePoint administration and advanced support.

• Ability to use logic and reasoning when troubleshooting difficult issues
• Ability to think outside the box; imagine innovative effective solutions and designs
• Understanding and appropriately responding to feedback
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field preferred; or equivalent experience required
• 4+ years' experience of system administration
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server
• Office 365 messaging engineer/admin experience
• Experience with DMARC & Spam within messaging administration
• Strong Understanding of O365 Mail flow and interaction between On-prem and Exchange
• Strong knowledge of how to archive communication channels
