Systems Engineer

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Key Skills; Python scripting
On-Prem cloud exp AWS
Linux admin exp
8+ years of experience in production support, systems and platform operations and technology
Experience with On Prem and Public Cloud - AWS, EKS
Scripting languages like Python
Linux Administration and Cloud, DevOps experience would be a plus
8+ years IT experience
Proven technical background with high degree of comfort with Linux, Oracle databases, PostgreSQL databases, networking concepts, and ITSM-based methodologies
Experience with batch scheduling software (e.g. Autosys/Control-M) and ETL processing
Familiarity with event driven architecture (e.g. Apache Kafka)
Extensive experience with Oracle, pgadmin and PL/SQL
Experience with automated deployment tools & techniques (Concourse, Jenkins, Jenkinscore, Udeploy)
Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog and Sitescope
Experience with advanced analytics and data visualization tool Spotfire
You have a solid grasp of AWS. Certification is a plus. 
Experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS)
Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java and Go
