This role will primarily focus on extracting and analyzing data from upstream capital markets through Kafka, and presenting insights in a visually appealing and actionable manner Data Extraction and Transformation:Collaborate with data engineers to extract data from Kafka topics and transform it into a suitable format for Tableau analysis.Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing robust data validation and quality checks.Dashboard Development:Design and build interactive dashboards that effectively communicate complex data stories to stakeholders.Utilize Tableau's advanced features, such as calculated fields, parameters, and custom visualizations, to create insightful and visually appealing dashboards.Performance Optimization:Optimize dashboard performance to handle large datasets and complex calculations efficiently.Implement techniques to improve data loading times and reduce query execution times.Data Governance and Security:Adhere to data governance and security standards to protect sensitive data.Implement appropriate data access controls and encryption measures.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.Communicate technical concepts and findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
