Talend Admin & Support + ETL

Experience required: 2- 5 years.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Good Knowledge on Talend Administration, Installation and configuration.
  • Hands-On Experience in maintaining Talend servers (remote engines and Cloud engines).
  • Hands-On Experience in Talend Management Console. This includes maintaining license, engines, configuration namespaces, promotion of jobs to different environments, Access Management
  • Should have worked on multiple Talend products and multiple versions is a must
  • Should have handled Talend Version Upgrades and server migration which includes creating of all the server components.
  • Should have experience in Emergency Bug Fixing, Hot Fix apply, Other application installations on Talend Servers
  • Should have experience in Infrastructure Support, Maintaining the Coding standards, Outages Handling, Patch apply (Hot Fixes /Software)
  • Good knowledge on Linux commands , Postgres DB and Tomcat Server
  • Knowledge on Talend Data Catalog setup , Access Management, configuring models and Model management.
  • Good to have basic knowledge on AWS
  • Good to have hands-on experience in creating Talend ETL job.
  • Any prior experience of Talend Admin Center & TMC is a MUST.

 

Primary Skills

  • CI/CD in Talend using Jenkins and Nexus
  • TAC configuration with LDAP, Job servers, Log servers, database
  • Job conductor, scheduler and monitoring
  • GIT repository, creating user & roles and provide access to them
  • Agile methodology and 24/7 Admin and Platform support
  • Estimation of effort based on the requirement
  • Should have experience on working with Scrum methodology projects and able to deliver work on time with good quality.
  • Individual contributor to the project.
