Technical Business Analyst
Our client is seeking a technical business analyst resource with a healthcare payer background that is able to simultaneously work on a wide variety of business and technical requirement activities. This role is responsible for providing supporting on our transformation projects and partners with the Program Manager, Project Managers, and delivery teams to effectively gather organizational assets for the program execution plan, refine business requirements, clearly document technical requirements and ensure timely delivery of IT and data deliverables.
This role will apply their skills and expertise to quickly analyze and assess business requirements, confirm understanding, and add needed technical requirements in order for delivery teams to quickly develop, test and implement solutions. The analyst will work with technical teams and business stakeholders to perform business requirement analysis, document technical requirements, and provide internal IT and Data support to ensure the delivery teams and QA teams have the information they need to develop, test, and implement solutions. The client would prefer experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO), JIRA or similar tools.
The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting our transformation workstreams
This position requires working directly with multiple cross functional teams to help identify and execute upon deliverables.
The analyst needs to be solutions oriented, while delivering timely and high-quality results with an ability to pursue multiple concurrent initiatives and work collaboratively with business and technology team members
Will require coordination between business operations and technology teams
Follow up and ensure timely completion of transformation tasks
Ensure requirements roadblocks are not only highlighted but an active leader in its resolution
Coordinates with Transformation Project Owner to compile weekly metrics reporting
Identify continuous improvements to requirements gathering process, artifacts and recommend improvement actions
Respond timely to ad-hoc information requests and projects
Assist with requirements gatekeeping and validate any new requirement for their effect and impact on the existing requirement set of the project.
Qualifications and Skills
Self-starter 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business/Solutions Analyst that is a self-starter and can work independently without oversight
Strong business and technology landscape, data mapping, applications, and integration analytical skills
Visualization skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Facilitation and observational skills
Able to adjust plans and focus due to changes in priorities
Ability to manage multiple tasks and still meet critical deadlines
Participates in the requirements handoff and a “lite” design review to validate that functionality is in alignment business requirements
Assists in the evaluation of potential operational impacts and works with staff to identify and document changes to current technology workflows
Collaborate with the QA team to provide needed information that supports the testing strategy and execution of the test plan.
Work with IT and Data teams to identify implementation tasks and schedule date for delivery.
