Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Identify business requirements and translate into IT infrastructure solutions
Customer fronting to provide consultancy services
Liaise with principal/internal/3rd party team to ensure success of
projects deployment
Take the lead role in providing technical consultancy to project team
Define and maintain solution roadmaps for the IT infrastructure
Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge
Bachelor’s Degree in computer information systems or related field.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in related field
Good verbal and written communication skills
Able to work under pressure and odd hours
Positive work attitude, work on minimum supervision and active team player
Good coordination skills and self-starter
Wiling to travel (mobile)
Willingness to learn& acquire new approaches, skills and constantly
update knowledge in their area of expertise
Ability to prioritize effectively and work with sense of urgency
Effectively communicates with teammates
Good vision of situations and ability to size them up appropriately
Customer Engagement (customer centric and could handle customer
effectively, resourceful and possess a strong initiative)
Desirables
Possess fundamental concept of commodity servers, storage system,
virtualization & HCI, backup & recovery software, well verse with
three-tier architecture (Compute/Storage/Network)
Pre-sales skillset – Design, build and craft solution/technical
write-up, experience with Tenders/RFP/RFQ – confidence in presenting
solutions to customer, conduct POCs
Added advantage – experience with Unix OSes, IBM Power and SPARC
machines, cloud, automation, and containerization platform
