🔹 For our Client from banking industry we are looking for Senior Project Manager 🔹

✔️Description:

Demonstrable experience in leading complex initiatives with distributed multi-faceted teams

Effective coordination of project scoping work, design workshops and key communication forums

Preferably a relevant certification for example PMP, PMI, Prince 2 or similar

Proficiency in financial management, forecasting and reporting

Structured risk handling and dependency management

Accustomed to frequent feedback loops and comfortable in challenging conversations

Fluent English, both written and spoken, is a must

If you have experience from leading infrastructure projects or projects in the end user space that will be an advantage, but it’s not a pre-requisite.

To lead a transformation from existing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment to a more resilient environment, it is expected to be a cloud-based solution, an IT project manager would need to possess a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills.

✔️Technical Knowledge:

VDI: Understanding of VDI solutions and vendors, including supporting services, deployment, and limitations.

Cloud technologies: Familiarity with cloud computing (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)Infrastructure migration: Experience with complex IT migrations and transformation, including moving from legacy systems to modern, scalable platforms.

✔️Project Management Skills:

Project planning and execution: Proven ability to develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets while managing risks and ensuring deadlines are met.

Stakeholder management: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to align key stakeholders, from technical teams to business leaders, ensuring everyone is on the same page.

Agile/Waterfall methodologies: Experience with project management frameworks like Agile or Waterfall, depending on the organization’s needs and the project scope.

Problem-Solving and Adaptability:

Solution discovery: Ability to research, evaluate, and select the best solution, ensuring it meets both current and future business needs.

Flexibility: Capacity to handle ambiguity, especially since the target solution is not yet identified, and quickly adapt to new information or challenges.

✔️Change Management:

User adoption strategies: Experience leading user training and support initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of the new technology.

Cross-functional leadership: Ability to work with diverse teams (IT, security, compliance, etc.) to manage the transition effectively.

✔️Vendor Management:

Vendor selection and negotiation: Ability to manage relationships with potential technology providers and negotiate contracts that align with organizational goals.

Third-party integrations: Experience managing the integration of third-party services and technologies into existing infrastructures.

Security and Compliance Awareness:

Data security: Knowledge of IT security best practices to ensure that the new solution complies with all relevant data protection and cybersecurity standards.

Compliance management: Understanding of industry-specific regulations that might impact the choice of solution, such as GDPR, DORA, ISO27001 etc.
