Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful delivery of various technical projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft BI, Salesforce, Zendesk and Drupal CMS, along with a robust background in managing diverse technical projects. This role encompasses project support for system implementations, integrations, major upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Methodology Implementation:
- Provide project support for technical projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and enforce detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and deliverables.
- Implement and sustain a standardized project management methodology across Client to enhance consistency, efficiency, and best practices.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project milestones and objectives.
- Prepare and deliver regular updates, status reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
System Implementations, Major System Changes & Security:
- Oversee projects related to technology systems ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical specifications.
- Manage desktop, server, and network upgrades and changes, minimizing disruption to business operations and evaluating risks to provide effective solutions.
- Ensure all technical projects comply with security standards and industry regulations, collaborating with IT security teams to address and resolve security concerns.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and report on project performance metrics, taking corrective actions as needed to address any issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Technical Project Manager, with a successful track record of managing and delivering complex technical projects.
- Strong understanding of system integrations, ERP platforms, and managing major system changes.
- Excellent project management skills, including proficiency with project management tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Microsoft Teams, OneNote, Smartsheet and Microsoft Project.
- Knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements relevant to IT projects.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining project management methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels effectively.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Zendesk, Drupal CMS, and Softrip a plus.
