Technical Project Manager 4 ( IT Telecommunications phone systems Migrations )   Must Have’s - Large Project Details (Multi-year projects): The project includes the migration of over 10,000 telephone lines into two new environments: a new Zoom Phone environment, and a new Cisco Call Manager environment • Must come from working at any University or working at any College in the U.S. (one of the last 3 recent jobs on the resume has to be a University/College in the United States (example of college or university: Candidate previously worked at “University of California” or “University of New York” or Harvard or “University of Texas” or Michigan State University etc… ) or worked at any College in the United States as a Technical Project Manager) • Experience planning, and managing with large, complex IT Telecommunications Migrations (phone systems) • Experience with Cisco or Zoom phone systems migrations or implementations or upgrades   • Must have ….PMP Certification, or Scrum Master Certification, or ITIL Certification   • Experience as a project manager in a large PMO • Bachelor's degree in science or technical discipline, with an emphasis in technology management or information management or an equivalent combination of education and experience JOB DESCRIPTION Minimum Qualifications At least 7 + years’ experience as PRIMARY, LEAD, OR SOLO project manager on large, complex, enterprise-level IT projects through full life cycle that included: ● Developing and managing highly detailed technical project schedules ● Identifying, evaluating & escalating, and actively managing project risks ● Developing and managing clear, concise project communications, including status reporting and stakeholder communications ● Coordinating work with multiple vendors to ensure alignment on expectations, priorities, and milestones ● Building and managing strong customer/client relationships that support and encourage open bi-directional communication Preferred Qualifications ● Experience planning and managing complex, enterprise-level telecommunications projects ● Superior communication and interpersonal skills to manage teams and diverse stakeholder groups with tact and diplomacy ● Experience in higher education (working at a University or College with in the current or last 3 companies on the resume) ● Experience as a project manager in a PMO ● Bachelor's degree in science or technical discipline, with an emphasis in technology management or information management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. ● PMP Certification, Scrum Master Certification, and/or ITIL Certification Referrals selected be interviewed need to be prepared to discuss specifics; provide specific information about the project and explain their methodology and demonstrate the following: 1. Pro-Active Project Management: Provide specific examples of managing projects and the actions they took to help the project be successful. 2. Core understanding of technology: Demonstrate and explain the technology of the projects they worked on. 3. Adaptable to project and environmental challenges: Provide examples of when they changed behavior in order to be successful in a particular environment or to correct for mistakes that had been made in the project. 4. Communication: Demonstrate the ability in the interview to listen well and communicate clearly about the projects they have worked on and to provide examples of clear communication with their project teams.
