Job Description:
We're looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and strategic communications professional with exceptional writing skills and a flexible mindset. Position requires a proven ability to lead development and execution of complex sourcing strategies for assigned projects and consulting with customers to solve IT business problems. Conducts meaningful market research and works with business owners to develop sourcing scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop clear and compelling content proposals. Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather necessary information. Ensure technical documentation meets industry standards and bid requirements.
- Superb written communication, editing, and proofreading skills required as part of this job. Along with attentiveness to details and deadlines.
- Advanced ability to serve as a strategic communications advisor and lead through influence.
- Produces high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
- Experience in creating technical Release Notes, User Guides, Design and Technical Documentation.
- Works with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the business and the documentation requirements.
- Performs quality reviews of documents, within given timeframes and with little or no supervision, to ensure correct spelling, grammar, content accuracy, and tone and voice consistency.
- Creates, edits, and maintains technical documentation such as statements of work.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, business, communications, English or related field.
- Five to six years’ experience writing government proposals.
- Experience writing statements of work for IT related projects.
- Experience writing proposals or other forms of persuasive communications including technical or complex information.
- In addition to developing proposal strategies, you'll write, edit, and design persuasive proposals and presentations in collaboration with engineers and fellow business development
