Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Sales Engineer based in Bengaluru. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, preparing and delivering presentations to clients, and collaborating with the sales team to achieve sales targets.He/She is expected to travel extensively within the country as well as abroad on as need basis.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong technical sales skills with experience in sales engineering
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical clients
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements in customer engagements and projects
  • Prepare concept solutions and cost estimations by interacting with relevant internal departments
  • Continuous engagement with existing customers and nurturing new prospects

 

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include:

 

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree with at least 1 year of technical sales experience in a similar industry is essential
  • Experience working with machine tools is essential.
  • Exposure to SPMs would be desirable
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems
