Techno-Functional BTP Consultant

Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Techno-Functional BTP Consultant with a strong technical background to join our team for a long-term contract role. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of core ABAP experience, including at least 5 years working within S/4HANA environments, and a proven track record in SAP BTP Extension & Application Development, as well as SAP BTP Cloud Integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Solution Design & Development: Design and develop technical solutions for side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP. Implement and manage side-by-side extensions and integrations.
S/4HANA Extensibility: Utilize S/4HANA Extensibility Framework/Techniques and apply in-app/on-stack extensibility strategies.
RICEF Development: Develop and manage RICEF objects in ABAP on HANA, leveraging your experience with both classic and newer development technologies.
Web Development: Employ your understanding of web technologies such as SAP UI5, HTML5, JavaScript, and Web frameworks. Implement Fiori principles and UX design throughout the development cycle.
Integration & Data Handling: Work with ABAP CDS views, oDATA, REST/JSON, and XML, including debugging and performance tuning.
Business Process Knowledge: Apply your knowledge of business processes across various S/4HANA modules including SD, MM, PP, EWM, and APO.
CAP & RAP Models: Experience with Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and RESTful ABAP Application Programming Model (RAP) is required.
Tools: Proficiency in Business Application Studio, SAP HANA Studio/Eclipse, and GIT for development and version control.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SAP BTP Extension & Application Development and SAP BTP Cloud Integration.
In-depth knowledge of S/4 HANA Extensibility and experience with RICEF objects.
Hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA, web development technologies, and UX design principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in debugging and performance tuning.
Extensive knowledge of business processes in S/4 HANA modules and proficiency in CAP & RAP models.
Minimum 8 years of core ABAP experience, with 5 years in S/4HANA environments.
