Experience in network engineering and architecture on Enterprise Networks

hands-on Experience in routing, switching , preferably in a Data Center Networking environment.

Intimate knowledge of IP and Ethernet industry landscape including Ethernet switch & routing vendors, Software Defined Networks, etc.

Strong hands-on exposure in Routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP),Policy base routing (PBR ), VRF based routing for shared rooftop Business environment.

MPBGP, QOS setup, GRE/MGRE Tunnels, IPSec Tunnels.

Strong hands-on experience on switching, Hardware (Nexus 2K,5K,7K & 9K, Cisco 4500,6500,3850,9200 etc ) different variant of Spanning tree, loop guard, UDLD, port security, HSRP/VRRP, Switch stacking, VSS, Port-Channel, VRF ,VPC/MEC ,VDC, ACL's , Prefix List & route-map etc.,

 

Intimate understanding of the design, architecting, deploying with automation and operation of large scale Data Center Networks with EVPN-VXLAN, Spine and Leaf Architecture, Campus Network

Experience with Linux and excellent knowledge of core network services (DNS, DHCP, SMTP, NTP, SNMP, syslog, HTTP/HTTPS).

Strong in-depth networking product and technology knowledge is a must, Cisco.

Strong knowledge of IPv6, multicast, QoS, IP fast rerouting, etc..

Strong knowledge and troubleshooting skill on Wireless technology.

Strong knowledge on IPAM- Infoblox.

Experience in doing an architecture assessment of large scale Data Center networks & campus Networks including solid understanding of best practices, scalability strategy, and security based practices.

Good knowledge on Network monitoring and management tools (NetFlow, SNMP).

Certification requirements CCNA, CCNP preferred
