Telematics is the key foundational technology for the connected car and autonomous driving. It includes technology like LTE modems and network access devices (NADs) as well as wireless standards e.g. BT/WiFi, GNSS, NFC etc. are one of the fastest growing areas.
- Candidate should have very good design and implementation experience in Linux Middleware components and Applications. Working experience in Automotive Telematics applications is must.
- Very good hands on experience in systeClient, DBUS and other IPC mechanisms.
- Very good hands on experience in process synchronization and management.
- Thorough knowledge of User space to Kernel space interactions required by HAL layers. E.g: IOCTL, System calls, Netlink Sockets, sysfs entries etc
- Linux kernel knowledge will be good to have and add on.
- Experience in Power concepts is good to have.
- Very good hands on coding experience in C & C++.
- Very good hands on OOAD experience.
- Very good communication skills and proficiency in English.
- SIM specific role (Nice to have): Very good understanding of 3GPP specification related to SIM functionalities. Understands the concept of SIM provisioning and configuration. Preferably Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP) using LPA (Local Profile Assistant). Preferably has worked on SIM Tool Kit or any other SIM application.
