Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Mobile device testing preferably on Android
Good understanding of Wireless Technologies - Communication & Networking
Good knowledge on the 3G/4G protocol debugging tools, debug lab and field issues on connectivity, data throughout
Good understanding of the Mobile Operators Testing process is an value add.
Knowledge of software quality assurance practices. Self-motivation to learn new features and technologies and deliver high quality results.
Strong written and oral communication and collaboration skills, ability to collaborate effectively in team, across team and with management and other disciplines
Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and deliver on time
Ability to resolve ambiguities effectively, prioritize and self-driven for completion. Able to prioritize between multiple needs and adapt to changing circumstances
Job Description
Perform application, feature, and protocol testing on mobile test devices as per 3GPP standard.
Perform filed testing in and around GTA and Niagara area.
To assist in the preparation of test plans, scripts, measures, and other items needed for testing while applying company and industry standards.
Build test cases, test data & ensure test environment is ready for timely test execution and quality delivery of projects/products.
Execution of test cases as per requirements.
Track and log defects while ensuring that the test results are uploaded timely. Participate in analysis and support team in performing root cause analysis.
Provide regular updates to team leads for on time and quality delivery.
Create supporting documents and knowledge base from testing results for further reference.
Perform repeatable testing procedures and processes.
