Your challenge

As a Solution Engineer in Test (SET), you develop and improve OMP’s industry solution, support automation frameworks, and optimize quality.

You Are Responsible For:

Developing end-to-end scope testing solutions for upgrade testing and deployment of the OMP Solution to the OMP Cloud.
Participating in requirement and architecture/design reviews, focusing on test automation/performance strategy, and ensuring best practices.
Participating in root cause analysis, functional, system, and regression testing activities.
Analyzing, designing, and developing automation/performance solutions that meet organization standards.

As a Solution Engineer in Test, you’ll join the Industry team, as part of our Customer Solutions organization. The Industry team realizes the targets and strategies set in the industry business plans together with the Commercial and Delivery teams. The Industry team guides and supports the Commercial and Delivery teams with industry-specific commercial expertise, advice, and solutions.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:

At least 2-5 years of relevant experience in developing and supporting automation test frameworks or development experience and desire to learn and extend expertise.
Hands-on experience with backend applications such as DB and server-side, using Python/PowerShell scripting.
DB Queries, relational databases, and query building in SQL or Oracle DB.
Knowledge of cloud technologies like CloudFront, Kubernetes, Docker, VPC, and Octopus.
Hands-on knowledge of repos like GIT, TFS, or SVN.
End-to-end test integration with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins, Gitlab, or similar.
Experience in refactoring and extending test automation scripts/frameworks and suites as necessary.
Excellent analytical and communication expertise with strong verbal and writing skills.
A passion for working in a multinational, customer-driven environment.

Bonus Points If You Have:

Experience with scrum/agile development practices with knowledge of Azure, Azure DevOps, and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices.
