Tester

Looking for a skilled professional responsible for Design, build, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions. expected to perform manual and automation testing in validating data sources, extraction of data, applying transformation logic, and loading data into target tables, working closely with data engineering functions to ensure a sustainable test approach. 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Designing and implementing tests: Building and maintaining Data Validation flows/Automation framework knowledge , Create Manual & Automated tests and ensure they are consistently run 

·         Analyzing test results: Use the results to identify defects and determine if more testing is needed .

·         Reporting defects: Document and track defects.

·         Maintaining test scripts: Keep Manual & automation test scripts up to date 

·         Working with manual testers: Integrate automated tests into the overall testing process 

·         Defining test automation strategy: Contribute to the strategy for automating manual testing tasks 

Supporting automation assessments: Be part of the quality verification and validation process

Data Quality: Implementing data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy. 

Data Analysis: Collaborating with data analysts and scientists to support data analysis and machine learning initiative

Must have's:

Seasoned SQL developer

Experience creating and executing data testing plan's - accuracy, integrity, reliability, etc

Good Stakeholder management

Able to translate between tech and non tech audiences

Experience with owning and creating data test summary reports

Preparing and executing data test cases

Nice to have's:

Experience with any cloud service components specifically with data lake's, data warehouse's, data mart's, data mesh's, data pipeline's, data mi visualisation tools

Experienced python scripting skills for automated testing
