Job Description
UNIX provides in-depth and API Orchestration resource - unix/Linux systems administration, which includes user administration, application support, preventative maintenance, backup, and recovery, and system automation through scripting as required.
UNIX Duties & Responsibilitie
Unix in-depth and API Orchestration resources
Troubleshoot Unix/Linux Hardware and Software issues to resolution
Build and Decommission Unix and Linux servers
Daily maintenance and problem resolution for Networking (TCP/IP and UDP), Firewalls
Strong knowledge of clustering, partition and virtualization technology
Perform moves - adds - changes - upgrades to Unix servers
Maintaining and improving the group's internal continuous integration and testing platform
Expert knowledge in day-to-day system administration tasks such as package management and deployment, troubleshooting system and hosted applications related issues, system/network performance parameter tuning
Mentorship of more junior team members, leadership of specific projects and initiatives, participation in scoping and design activities, working in concert with the Principal Engineer and Enterprise Architecture team
Must have 6+ years' experience in IS working in an Infrastructure and Operations environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with higher level management
