Unreal Engine Solutions Architect

Role

We are seeking an experienced Unreal Engine Solutions Architect to oversee the evolution and enhancement of our Unreal Engine-based products (Quidich Tracker, HyperView, HyperStudio). The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Unreal Engine, be familiar with systems architecture, and demonstrate an ability to manage teams and product roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Architecture Analysis and Improvement: Review and refine the architecture of our existing Unreal products to ensure efficiency, scalability, and stability.
• Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the Unreal development team, ensuring that project timelines and roadmaps are adhered to.
• Scalability and Integration: Evaluate product scalability and ensure interoperability between our range of products.
• Data Flow Management: Design, implement, and oversee data flow structures within our products to ensure seamless operations and user experiences.
• Systems Logic: Implement and refine system-level logic within our Unreal products to maximize performance and usability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other department heads and teams to ensure that the products align with company goals and standards.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Unreal Engine and systems architecture to ensure the company's products are at the forefront of technology.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with Unreal Engine.
• Demonstrated experience in systems architecture, with a focus on scalability and integration.
• Certifications related to Unreal Engine or systems architecture.
• Proven track record of managing teams and overseeing product roadmaps.
• Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
