The UX Designer, Digital Products & Customer Experience, on the Digital Products Solutions (DPS) team, collaboratively develops and executes on the product vision for the digital connected experience for patients, caregivers, and providers across our innovative medicine portfolio. The designer will take a lead role on a critical workstream that will dramatically influence the overall experience. We are looking for a strong design sensibility, a hunger to explore and push the envelope visually, coupled with a knack for creating fluid, intuitive interactions. A desire to work at the interface between hardware and UI touchpoints is equally important to ensure success.
Responsibilities
- UX design on a critical workstream in which you will partner with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Generate low- and high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes, participate in user studies, create UI visual designs, and support design transfer to SW.
- Partner with the rest of the experience design team on a range of design initiatives supporting the broader Ottava ecosystem.
- Explore and conceptualize onboarding and learning strategies to improve users’ end-to-end experience with the system.
- Effectively communicate design ideas and concepts to a variety of internal stakeholders.
- Create production ready assets for SW implementation, communicate with software engineers to help overcome implementation challenges and support alternative solutions when needed.
Qualifications
- Design degree with minimum of 5 years of experience as a UX designer, interaction designer, UX architect, or similar
- High level of proficiency with digital design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Principle, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, etc.) and others.
- Strong portfolio showcasing experience across all phases of product development. We are interested in seeing both your process and design outputs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
