Description

  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Establish and design guidelines, best practices and standards
  • Provide clear, detailed descriptions of reporting specifications such as product features, activities, software, communication protocols, programming languages, and operating systems software and hardware
  • Develop and document test plans, testing procedures, or test results
  • Develop or implement procedures for ongoing web reporting revisions
  • Develop databases that support web applications and reports
  • Write and/or maintain supporting code for web applications and reports
  • Recommend and implement performance improvements
  • Create models or prototypes that include physical, interface, logical, or data models
  • Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
  • Perform infrastructure analysis and remediate WebFOCUS inefficiencies
  • Review suppression layers in analytics reporting and provide background knowledge and recommendations
  • Design and implement web reporting security measures
  • Establish backup and recovery standards
  • Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to P20 and client staff, and other stakeholders as requested.
  • Provide training to new WebFOCUS staff

Required Skills:

  • Experience designing and developing business intelligence reporting systems in a data warehousing environment using star schemas, data cubes and data marts
  • Experience developing web applications and reporting systems with the WebFOCUS Business Intelligence and Analytics Platform, including WebFOCUS 8 experience
  • Experience designing and developing mobile-first reporting systems with emphasis on responsive design and performance optimization
  • Possesses extensive experience with WebFOCUS and other Business Intelligence tools
  • Advanced skills in the WebFOCUS development environment
  • Experience installing, configuring, and administering WebFOCUS server
  • Experience in creating accessible work product, specifically in conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA.
  • Experience in multiple Website Design/Development projects as a web designer/developer
  • Possesses and is able to demonstrate graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's
