WiFi Engineer

JD :

Expert Level understanding of 802.11 networks and protocols 802.11n/ac/ax
· Expert level understanding of 802.11 MAC, QoS and RF characteristics
· Hands on experience in Wi-Fi network optimization for high density outdoor, stadiums or enterprise environments.
· Understanding of latest Wi-Fi technologies WiF6E, WiFi7 and aware of Wi-Fi industry standards and associations like WBA and WFA.
· Ability to understand and optimize network for convergence of Wireless Wi-Fi and 5G
· Hands on experience with Cisco, Ruckus controllers or Cisco Meraki Client
· In-depth understanding of Spectrum and packet capture/analysis
· Experience in site survey tools like AirMagnet or Ekahau
· Expert in defining WiFi network health/performance monitoring and KPIs and their use cases
· Basic understanding of TCP/IP protocols and IP networking
· Basic understanding of 802.1x security
· Experience with broadband product including CPE RDKB devices, DOCSIS, Cable Modem standards etc.
· Experience designing and implementing WLAN, wireless networks, and RF Link
· Ability to follow a project outline and meet deadlines.
· Quick learner with the ability to work with very little oversight beyond high-level direction
· Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset
