Description:
This role will primarily be accountable for augmenting our day-to-day support, including incident resolution and customer communication for our global Windows Server and VMware virtual infrastructure. Intermediate troubleshooting of both physical and virtual servers as well as effectively communicating root cause analysis and recommendations will also be required.

Responsibilities may include:
•      Installing, configuring, and maintaining the operating system and hardware on Windows based servers.
•      Participating in Follow the Sun support for global infrastructure servers.
•      Conducting audits of servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
•      Available to perform tasks outside normal business hours and on weekends as well as being on call for at least two weeks per quarter.

Required Skills
o      General Windows Server administration
o      Intermediate Windows Server 2012-2019 troubleshooting
o      Intermediate VMware vSphere Suite troubleshooting
o      Dell and HP hardware troubleshooting and support
o      Building foundational components of a virtual infrastructure
o      Problem-solving skillset to efficiently resolve customer requests
o      Able to work independently in support of a global infrastructure environment

Preferred Skills
o      Advanced Windows Server 2012-2019 troubleshooting
o      Advanced VMware vSphere Suite troubleshooting
o      VMware vSphere design and implementation
o      VMware NSX design and implementation
o      Experience with Ansible automation
