Job Description

We are hiring a Business Analyst to join our project team. The Project Management Office is looking for individuals to join the PMO as a resource to be assigned as needed.

Assignment can be with any department within the state of Maine; dependent on need.

You will report directly to the project management office.

Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing.

As a key contributor to the State of Maine Workday implementation, you must establish high quality standards and lead by example.

Monitoring/Supporting/Researching Data Quality/Data Cleanup with Stakeholders
Data Validation
Ticket Management (JIRA)
eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, and communicating business requirements
General project documentation (i.e. meeting notes, drafting proposals)
General support through testing phases: researching issues, providing guidance on defect resolution

Other Project Support Tasks As Identified

1 or more year’s experience with Workday HCM and/or Payroll
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Proficient with Excel (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, concatenations, etc.)
Excellent active listening skills
Ability to clearly articulate messages to various audiences
Active listening skills - Ability to influence others
Flexibility and adaptability; ability to work in ambiguous situations at all levels of the organization - Problem solving and root cause analysis skill
