This role is responsible for the following:
- Assesses report requirements, facilitates design, and completes build of Workday reporting solutions.
- Provides guidance and training to other staff and serves as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborates with functional stakeholders to assess reporting needs, gather specifications/requirements, and design reports for development
- Builds Workday simple, advanced, matrix, composite, trending, scorecard, dashboard, and BIRT reports to meet functional needs
- Supports less experienced Workday developers through sharing knowledge, experience, and/or training
- Ensure business requirements are met and solutions are efficient and accurate
- Help educate and enforce Workday Report methodologies with other team members
Required skills:
- A minimum of 5 years Workday report developer experience or related Workday Certification.
- Experience coordinating and collaborating with cross functional partners in report specification and requirement gathering.
Preferred skills:
- Knowledge and/or experience building Workday simple, advanced, matrix, composite, trending, scorecard, dashboard, and BIRT reports.
- Knowledge and/or experience of Prism Analytics.
- Ability to train/knowledge transfer with developers not experienced in Workday reporting solutions.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to diagnose and solve complex reporting issues.
- Experience developing reports in the areas of human resources, payroll, benefits, research administration, procurement, accounting, finance, or budgets.
- Experience with higher education, government, or nonprofit organizations.
