Intern, DevOps

YOUR ROLE AT SEPHORA...

As the Intern in DevOps team, you will help to gain the visibility into our environment stability through dashboarding and data collection. Your day to day will include interfacing with our engineers as well as the engineers in the Cloud area and Microservices team to connect to services and applications to aggregate data for high-level views for management and stakeholders.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH:

• Experience with containerization
• Experience with building dashboards
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
• Non-academic coding experience (e.g. hackathons, code challenges, open-source contributions, etc)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field
• Some knowledge of Cloud-based deployment solutions
• Background in at least one scripting language.
• Experience with code management and version control

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: 

• Graduating in 2024 or 2025 (undergraduate or graduate degree)
• Remote & hybrid program – work schedule must align with Pacific Standard Time  
• Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.  
• Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full-time hybrid positions *
• Available for the 1-week On-Site office experience in San Francisco, CA
