Sr PHP Laravel Developer

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Laravel Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework. You will work closely with other team members, including designers and project managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and test robust and scalable web applications using the Laravel framework.
• Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code that follows industry best practices.
• Create and maintain databases and data models to support application functionality.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services into web applications as needed.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Laravel developments, trends, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery and timely completion.
• Continuously improve software development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Laravel Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of Laravel projects.
• Solid understanding of PHP, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, and MVC architecture.
• Proficiency in Laravel framework and its ecosystem, including familiarity with Laravel's ORM (Eloquent), routing, migrations, and caching.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., Vue.js, React.js) is desirable.
• Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing optimized database queries.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
