EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE:
3+ years
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: In order of importance, list specific skills or talents that a qualified incumbent should
possess (i.e., management of large staff, computer applications, subject knowledge, etc.)
3+ years required experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst, Consulting, IT, or related field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Familiarity with agile processes, such as scrum, Kanban, and/or the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
2. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
3. Experienced in user story writing
4. 1+ years of leadership experience with ability to drive collaboration, engage, influence, and inspire
cross functional teams
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Interviewing skills, to talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information
· Listening skills, to understand what people say and to detect what they might be hesitant to say
· Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, assess risk, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
· Reasoning and decision-making skills, to determine and recommend solution alternatives that satisfy requirements while also meeting aggressive schedules and budgets
· Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Visio)
· Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
