SDP6 Accessibility Developer

The Department of Management, Division of Information Technology (DoIT) is looking for a highly motivated .Net developer to join our Application Development (App Dev) team. This role is key to supporting the launch of a statewide initiative focused on increasing accessibility allowing all Iowans to more fully interact with public service websites.

The ideal candidate will:

 

  • ·demonstrate solid knowledge of WCAG guidelines.
  • ·perform manual and automated testing and document accessibility compliance
  • ·write reports describing accessibility issues and recommendations for resolving them
  • ·demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills, written communication skills, and presentation skills.
  • ·thrive working in a collaborative team environment that embraces change and encourages innovation.
  • ·This role will be remote Monday thru Friday during standard business hours.

 

Required Skills:

 

  • ·C#, ASP.Net, MVC, CORE, Restful APIs Required 4years
  • ·Entity Framework or comparable ORM Required 4years
  • ·HTML/CSS, JavaScript or jQuery Required 4 years
  • ·Azure DevOps, GIT GitHub Enterprise Required 2years
  • ·Automated unit testing Required 2 years
  • ·Developing on an agile scrum team Required 2years
  • ·TSQL language skills working with MS SQLRequired 2 years
  • ·Bootstrap 4 or above Required 1 yearTypeScript/Angular 6 or above Desired 1 year
  • ·Knowledge of WCAG guidelines Desired 1 year
  • ·Experience with Accessibility Evaluation ToolsDesired 1 year
