Position Overview: The Part-Time ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ACI environments to support our clients' networking needs. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Cisco's ACI technology and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, particularly in the context of the Financial/Banking industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Implementation: Assist in the design and implementation of ACI fabric solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices, with a focus on the unique needs of the Financial/Banking sector.
Configuration & Management: Configure and manage ACI components, including Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC), leaf, and spine switches.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve network issues related to ACI deployments, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all ACI-related processes, configurations, and procedures.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize ACI environments to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.
Client Support: Provide technical support and guidance to clients, addressing their ACI-related queries and concerns.
Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers and departments to integrate ACI solutions with existing infrastructure and applications.
 

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Cisco ACI technology.
Certifications: Relevant Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco ACI.
Strong understanding of networking protocols and concepts (e.g., VLANs, VXLAN, BGP, OSPF).
Experience with APIC, leaf, and spine architecture.
Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus.
Experience working with clients in the Financial/Banking industry is a plus.
