Advanced Test Engineer

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Engineering, Test & Diagnostics developers to facilitate the technology transfer of test methods and equipment to a contract manufacturing partner.
• Understand existing test methodologies.
• Review existing test methods for streamlined improvements and implement as part of transfer.
• Document existing and improved test methods that support technology transfer.
• Duplicate necessary test fixtures and systems.
• Translate engineering documentation to English.
• Participate in technology transfer discussions and weekly meetings.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in automated manufacturing engineering, electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and integration with test
• Experience with transferring manufacturing and test processes to contract manufacture
• Understand the architecture of the personal computers.
• Understand the configuration Windows and Linux.
• Possess good aptitudes for analysing and problem solving (scientific method)
• Possess good skills with office suite.
• Knowledge of programming languages (C++, C#, LabVIEW, TestStand, Python)
• Asset: have a technical college degree in electrical engineering (example: Quebec program DEC 243.xx)
• Strong teamwork and people skills.
• Competent in both French and English (spoken and written).
