Amazon EKS Anywhere Administrator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Amazon EKS Anywhere Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, managing and scaling our Kubernetes EKS Anywhere infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and implementing robust security practices. Responsibilities:

• Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on EKS Anywhere.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to provide visibility into application and infrastructure performance.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
• Ensure complete compliance with security and data protection standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EKS Anywhere environments, including performance and functionality issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to facilitate CI/CD processes and support deployment pipelines.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades without downtime.
• Document best practices and act as a subject matter expert for EKS Anywhere within the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Proven experience with Amazon EKS Anywhere and AWS cloud services.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, and security best practices in a cloud environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.

Preferred Skills:

• AWS Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar certification.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring technologies such as ELK stack or AWS CloudWatch.
