Description

Responsibilities

  • Interact with Product Owner and Business Analyst to understand reporting requirements
  • Setup data model supporting various reporting requirements
  • Interact with team of developers to implement reports
  • Interact with team of developers to build data ingestion pipelines

Required

  • Highly experienced in SQL & PL/SQL, at least 10 years of experience
  • More than 5 years of experience in data modelling, building Snowflake and/or Star schemas
  • More than 5 years of experience in ETL operations, experience with AWS Glue preferable
  • Experience with DWH operations, experience in AWS services like Redshift & Athena
  • More than 5 years of experience in BI visualization tools, experience in Tableau or AWS Quicksight is preferable
  • Experience in Python, at least 1-2 years
  • Experience in dealing with large volumes of data and performance tuning
  • Sound understanding of AWS services like IAM, VPC, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch
  • Ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving aptitude and strong presentation/communications skills.

Good to have:

  • Experience in AWS services like Lambda, Kinesis Data Streams, Firehose
  • Experience in No-SQL databases like DynamoDB
  • Experience in NodeJS
  • Experience in Data Modelling
